We are working with the US Air Force in building different products for the military using our patented SW platform. These products will enable a diverse product line centered around portable, large, curved interactive displays that can be used to enhance situational awareness and collaborative decision-making in many different applications like command and control, base operations, analytics visualization, and battle management. Following are the current products in the making under USAF SBIR/STTR contracts.
Projection based visualization displays usually need a rigid surface. STL presents the first multi-projector visualization display that can project directly on the walls on the inside of the tent and calibrate in real time to create a seamless display in the presence of movements due to environmentals like wind.
The current popular modality for visualization of data analytics is AR/VR headsets that are cumbersome and disallow natural discussions among the users. STL presents a tool for panoramic analytics that allows multiple users to navigate through data analytics visualizations on a large almost 360 degree surround display using lucid laser based interactions. It can allow panoramic visualization of any kind of data analytics including intel/PED analysis, urban/base planning, base defense, battle management, and digital twin exploration.
TRANSPORTABLE INTERACTIVE LARGE DISPLAY
A portable, pack-and-go, large (150” diagonal), high quality (4K, 20K+ lumens) interactive display that can be either flat or curved (for greater immersion) and can be deployed by 2 people in under 30 minutes. No special power or AV requirements. It is being sponsored by a USAF SBIR contract of $1.875M as a new solution for collaborative C2, training, and visualization environments.
UNIFIELD 3D HAND GESTURE BASED CONTROL (UHGC) FOR TRANSPORTABLE LARGE DISPLAY
We are developing an unified 3D hand-gesture based control (UHGC) of large scale 3D terrain visualization and overlaid target UAV view visualization via the same gesture based control for eVTOL/UAM. This will provide key decision makers precise understanding of salient terrain features, spatial relationships between assets and target areas, time-and-distance challenges for logistics and visualize air traffic density for C2, training and visualization environments.
